Editing in Final Cut Pro

Below are some screenshots on how i edited some of my footage in Final Cut Pro. The first two transitions show how i inserted a video transition into my teaser trailer. I did this by clicking on the effects tab which then presented me with a drop down menu. I then clicked on ‘Dissolve’ and then chose ‘Fade in Fade Out’ dissolve.

I also wanted to wanted to add blackouts to my teaser trailer and i did this by placing my cursor on the part of the timeline where i wanted the black out to appear before clicking on the effects tab, video transitions. I then scrolled down to dissolve and clicked on cross dissolve.
